1. Who We Are
Syncare provides senior-friendly technology, including simplified tablets, remote management tools, and optional AI companionship features. Our platform is designed to help older adults stay connected and supported — with management features for families and care facilities.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, manage a Syncare device, or represent a care facility. If you’re setting up a device for a senior, you’re responsible for managing permissions and usage responsibly.
3. Your Responsibilities
By using Syncare, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information during sign-up
Use the service only for lawful, personal or professional care-related purposes
Respect the privacy of other users
Avoid attempting to reverse-engineer, resell, or exploit any part of the service
4. Subscriptions & Payment
Some features (e.g. remote dashboard, AI companion, internet connectivity) require a paid subscription.
All pricing is clearly disclosed at checkout
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
You can cancel anytime via your dashboard or by contacting support
5. Returns & Refunds
We offer a 30-day return policy for physical tablets. To qualify:
The device must be in good condition
You must request the return within 30 calendar days of delivery
Subscriptions can be canceled at any time but are non-refundable after billing unless otherwise stated.
6. Privacy & Data
All use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
We follow GDPR and CCPA guidelines. You can request to access, update, or delete your data by contacting us at privacy@syncare.com.
7. Device Usage & Content
You are responsible for how your Syncare device is used. Do not upload or share content that is unlawful, abusive, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of misuse.
8. Service Availability
We strive to provide uninterrupted service, but we may occasionally need to perform maintenance or updates. Syncare is not liable for any losses due to temporary unavailability or technical errors beyond our control.
9. Limitation of Liability
Syncare is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost connection, health outcomes, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
10. Termination
You can stop using Syncare at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you’ve violated these terms.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service improvements, legal changes, or feature updates. We’ll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.
